In 2025 I shot a medium length film (45 min.). It's called "CODEC: Amanda"

This is a trailer I cut as I was doing the assembly cut. 
As you can tell from the copyrighted music, it is not for distribution, I merely cut it for fun (it is not public on youtube). It gives you some idea of the kind of vibe we are going for. 

The Story 

Two young women, best friends, Julia and Amanda, decide to do a silent retreat. As they sit and meditate for 8 days, outside a new AI app is launched that drives the world insane. As Julia exits her retreat, she searches for a way to find her best friend Amanda, who is missing... 

As you can see from these stills, we have a great Director of Photography. We are also collaborating with the incredible artist Trent Anthony Francis who is supplying us with the imagery for the monsters/AI footage for the ‘CODEC’ app.

What I'm Looking For

An editor experienced in narrative for either: 

- consulting, doing reviews of the film and telling me how to improve certain sections

- potentially work on the film. 

About the people who worked on this film

I'm the Director and writer of “CODEC”: Amanda. I have self-funded most of the film alongside significant help from FilmesDaMente, a production company based in Porto, Portugal. I am a VFX artist working in the UK market with 10+ years experience. Our crew includes experienced professionals of the Portuguese film industry such as Manuel Pinto Barros who is our Director of Photography and Luís Silveira who is Sound Director.
